Ramanuj Gopalan

Ramanuj heads the legal function. He helps manage Elevation's investments and portfolio across sectors and guides the team on all legal aspects of investments and exits, structuring and compliance. Prior to this Ramanuj worked at Amarchand Mangaldas for more than 8 years. He holds a law degree from National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.

"As general counsel I manage legal functions over the life cycle of the fund's investment in portfolio companies, including investments, structuring, operational legal issues till exit. I really enjoy my work with all the innovative and fast-growing companies in the portfolio and help manage several challenging legal issues. I work closely with the investment team as well as founders and endeavour to provide business-oriented solutions to legal issues.
